Our Shady Lady Waterproof Shade Sails feature PVC-Coated material that is incredibly strong and resistant to tearing. The solid membrane is impervious to water and air, so we've designed the sails with a cable perimeter to maintain their shape and ensure optimal tension.

Our shade sails also boast reinforced corners, heavy-duty 405gsm PVC polyester construction, and a 4mm cable perimeter. They are suitable for moderate weather conditions and come in six designer colours, including Shelly Beach Beige, Bouddi Black, Terrigal Blue, Woy Woy White, Somersby Brown, and Gosford Grey.

We strongly advise buyers to be cautious of such products, as they may be of lower quality and may not provide the level of durability and protection that you need for your outdoor space. Installation Requirements for waterproof shade sails

*To achieve longevity and get the best results when installing a waterproof shade sail please consider the following. Wind and water can not pass through your shade sail, so you need to ensure your shade sail is tensioned well to avoid loose fit and movement. Your fixing points need to be structurally sound to avoid extra strain and dislodgment, as they need to withstand the environmental forces on the shade sail.

We recommend your shade sail is on a 20% slant to cater for water to run off, and to avoid water pooling on the shade sail. Without a minimum of 20% drop/slant, pooled water will be unsightly and create extra strain on your fixing points.

20% drop for water run off (avoid the shade sail pooling with water)
Tension your shade sail so it is not able to flap around (Wind can not pass thorugh it)
Fixing points need to be structurally sound (Check with a handyman or builder if unsure)
Posts need to be of the size 90mm or greater.
General rule for is 1/3 of the post in the ground for Sun shade material and up to 1/2 in the ground for waterproof depending on the size of the shade sail

Incorrect installation can cause damage to your shade sail, which is not covered by warranty.

We offer a 2-year warranty on this product, under normal weather conditions.
