Before you purchase your shade sail, please see our shade sail installation guide. The Shady Ladies strongly recommend you get your ready-made shade sail before you put any fixing points in. 

We will show you how our pre-made sails are measured, which will help you to avoid purchasing the wrong size.  You will also find a list of shade sail fixing accessories for installation which are at great prices and shipped free with any shade sail purchase.

Need Poles for Your Shade Sail?
If you're looking to purchase galvanised steel posts, we recommend contacting your local steel fabricator or hardware supplier. Be sure to let them know the size and shape of your shade sail, so they can advise on the most suitable poles for your setup.

The most commonly used pole sizes are:

• 90x90mm square

• 90NB round (with 4mm wall thickness)

These provide strong and stable support. 

Installing a Large Shade Sail?
If you're planning to install a very large shade sail, you may require larger or custom-engineered posts to handle the increased tension and wind load. In these cases, we strongly recommend seeking engineering or structural advice to ensure your installation is safe, secure, and compliant with local building standards.
