Heavy-Duty Hand Punches & Eyelets – Built to Last

Our hand punches are proudly made in Australia using high-quality 86/20 tool steel — a superior alloy known for its strength, durability, and wear resistance.

Why 86/20 Steel is a Better Choice

86/20 steel (an alloyed tool steel) offers:

• Excellent hardness and edge retention
• High resistance to impact and deformation
• Long service life under repeated striking
• Reduced mushrooming and edge breakdown
• Reliable performance in commercial and industrial environments

This means your punch will stay sharper for longer, produce cleaner holes, and withstand ongoing use without premature wear — saving time and replacement costs.

Perfect for punching holes in:

  • PVC
  • Shade sail fabric
  • Webbing
  • Canvas
  • Leather
  • Rubber
  • Tarp material

SP4 Self-Piercing Eyelets – Professional Fast & Secure Fixing

Our SP4 self-piercing eyelets are a heavy-duty solution designed for fast and efficient installation without the need for pre-drilling in lighter materials. Ideal for shade sail fabric, PVC, canvas and industrial textiles, SP4 eyelets create a clean, reinforced fixing point suitable for both DIY and commercial applications.

  • Heavy-duty self-piercing design
  • Available in stainless steel and brass
  • Suitable for shade sails, tarps, covers and marine use
  • Strong, secure and professional finish
  • Ideal for trade and bulk production

How to Install SP4 Eyelets

For best results, we recommend using the correct SP4 hand setting tool together with a wad punch when required for thicker materials.

  1. Measure and mark your eyelet position.
  2. If working with heavy PVC or reinforced fabric, use a wad punch to create a clean pilot hole.
  3. Insert the SP4 eyelet through the material.
  4. Position the eyelet into the SP4 hand tool setter.
  5. Place the material on a firm surface such as cardboard over a nylon cutting board.
  6. Strike the setting tool firmly using a dead blow hammer for controlled impact.

The dead blow hammer reduces rebound, delivers more controlled force and helps protect both the tool and eyelet during installation.

Using a nylon cutting board underneath protects your tools from damage and ensures a clean, professional finish.

SP4 eyelets are widely used in shade sail manufacturing, marine fabrication, custom covers, privacy screens and commercial textile production.
