Extra Large Heavy Duty Diamond Shackle Wall Plate 180mm x 150mm 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel with Electropolished High-Quality Finish. These large wall plates spread to the load over a great area of your wall.
Electropolished Finish - This finish involves the stainless steel fitting being placed in a bath of specialized chemicals with a high-intensity electrical current running through it. This process peels back the outer layer of stainless steel to increase the proportion of chromium on the surface. This type of process results in a smoother, shinier, and brighter surface finish, as well as enchanting the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel. A majority of our fitting we sell are electropolished.
- 316 Grade Stainless Steel: Also known as "Marine Grade" as it contains Molybdenum to resist the corrosive effects of NaCI or salt in seawater. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion than 304 Stainless Steel for those projects in coastal locations.
