Keder Rope / Keder Track Insert
Keder, sometimes called Keder rope, is a strong and flexible edging system used to create a secure connection between fabric and a track, extrusion, frame or rope channel.
Keder is made from two main parts: a flexible core and an outer fabric covering. The core is usually made from extruded PVC or another elastic material, allowing it to bend and slide smoothly into compatible track. The outer Keder fabric has exposed fibres on the outside to help it move easily through the groove, while the inside coating helps provide a strong bond when welded or sewn to fabric.
Keder is commonly attached to PVC, canvas, shade cloth, acrylic blind fabric and other outdoor textiles to create a neat, strong and water-resistant connection between the fabric and frame.
