hamma™ Spike Shackles are manufactured from high-quality 316 Grade Stainless Steel casting material 17.4ph

 Fully supported locking pin with full hook engagement to ensure a positive load.

 Swivel head eyes allow self-alignment under load. 

The trigger latch design facilitates the snap shackle to open under load by inserting a fid or spike into the release aperture.

This feature makes foredeck crewing much easier and safer.

Hamma Spike Snap Shackle features a smooth and shiny electropolished finish for added corrosion resistance.

• 304 Grade Stainless Steel: This is the most commonly produced grade of stainless steel. It is general-purpose stainless steel and offers good corrosion resistance.

• 316 Grade Stainless Steel: Also known as "Marine Grade"  as it contains Molybdenum to resist the corrosive effects of NaCI or salt in seawater. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion than 304 Stainless Steel for those projects in coastal locations. Although it is not completely rustproof the alloy is more corrosion resistant than other common stainless steel.
