Why We Use Polyester

For outdoor products, UV resistance matters. While polypropylene is commonly used in many plastic products, it can break down faster when exposed to sunlight unless it has been specially UV-stabilised.

Polyester offers better resistance to UV exposure and outdoor weathering, helping it retain strength for longer in harsh conditions. This makes it a more reliable choice for outdoor use, including covers, straps, webbing, shade products and other materials exposed to sun, wind and rain.

For long-term durability in Australian conditions, polyester is often the better choice over standard polypropylene.
