Why Choose 316 Over 304?
316 stainless includes molybdenum for superior resistance to chlorides and salt spray, making it the preferred choice for coastal and marine environments compared to 304. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.

- 316 Grade Stainless Steel: Also known as "Marine Grade" as it contains Molybdenum to resist the corrosive effects of NaCI or salt in seawater. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion than 304 Stainless Steel for those projects in coastal locations. Although it is not completely rust proof the alloy is more corrosion resistant than other common stainless steels.
