I'm glad you invited me to review these clips. I am very happy with the price of these compared to those from the hardware store. It was great to have them arrive with the sails. However I must warn people to be careful as when installing the 5th of the 6 I bought, upon sliding my thumb along the clip to open it I managed to get a 1cm slice wound to the pad of my thumb and long thin shard of metal embedded inside. I had to get an expensive urgent GP appointment to have it removed, one stitch and a course of antibiotics as she said it had gone quite deep.
I realise that these sorts of defects can happen during manufacturing and only wish I had made a more detailed examination of the clips before using them.

The snap hooks are good value for money as they are keenly priced. However, I bought 6 and one of the springs broke so there was no spring back operation. They are ok for the purpose and do work but comparison with other higher priced snap hooks indicate the quality and consistency of manufacture could be better.

I have used quit a few of these snap hooks from other suppliers and when I switched over to TODS snap hooks I won't go anywhere else to buy the hooks, only use TODS hooks from now on.
